I've experienced education from both sides. I was a public school teacher before becoming a homeschool mom. I'm also a tutor and a homeschool co-op founder. So I understand the world you're leaving behind. I understand grade levels, curriculum, schedules, classrooms, and all those expectations we carry with us about what school is supposed to look like.
But I've also experienced the other side. And somewhere along the way, I learned something important:

You’ll begin step one by assessing your child's needs. Before buying curriculum or creating a schedule, start with your child. Where are they thriving? Where are they struggling? What do they enjoy? What do they need more—or less—of? Because before you can create a homeschool that fits your child, you need to understand the child you're actually homeschooling.
In step two I will guide you to finding the homeschool approach that works for your family. There are a lot of ways to homeschool, and when you're brand new, it can feel like you need to choose one and commit to it forever. You don't. The Blueprint helps you narrow down an approach that makes sense for your child and your family right now.
In step three I’ll help you choose the right curriculum for your family. Curriculum can send even the most confident new homeschool mom down a three-hour internet rabbit hole. The goal isn't to find the best curriculum on the internet. It's to find the curriculum that fits your child, your family, and the homeschool you're trying to create.
Then in step four we’ll move on to creating a homeschool plan. This is where you take everything you've figured out and turn it into a plan. Not a schedule that maps every minute until graduation. (Can we all agree that sounds exhausting?) A realistic starting point that fits your family's actual life. Because your homeschool plan should fit into your life—not the other way around.
Finally, you’ll be ready for the next steps! We will answer the question that brought you here: Okay… so what do I do now? Because eventually, we have to close the browser tabs and actually begin.
